To commemorate the discovery of 'The Raman Effect' by the veteran Indian Physicist,Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, National Science Day was celebrated at APS Golconda with great enthusiasm on February 28, 2018.A number of activities were organized on the theme "Science for the People and People for Science". A special assembly was conducted to mark the importance of Science in our life. A Science Quiz was organized in both primary and secondary school. Students participated enthusiastically in the quiz competition. Mr. Srikanth Panjab, Science Popularizer, motivational speaker, CEO cosmic connection gave an inspirational seminar on Astrophysics & a presentation on formation of universe, plants, and stars etc.
