Communal Harmony Week
Communal Harmony Week (19 November to 25 November 2024)
The Communal Harmony Week was celebrated in our school from 19 November to 25 November 2024.The celebration aimed to promote unity, peace, and harmony among students, teachers, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
*Activities*
The following activities were organized during the Communal Harmony Week celebration:

1. *Poem Recitation*:
The celebration began with poem recitation where a student named Japleen Kaur of class 7A emphasized the eseence of communal harmony through a poem written by the legendary writer Sri Rabindra Nath Tagore.

2. Slogan Writing :

3. Speech :
A student named Ishita from class 7 A presented a speech on the theme and very well highlighted the meaning , significance and various ways to foster communal harmony.

4. *Sticker Campaign*:
A sticker campaign was launched, where students wore stickers with messages promoting communal harmony.The money collected by this campaign was sent to The National Foundation for Communal Harmony.
5. Run for Unity:
The spirit of harmony among the students was witnessed during a run for unity wherein students participated voluntarily.
6. Movie Show:
Short movies and videos from the Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat drive and UNESCO and some commercial ads based on communal harmony were show- cased in the MP Hall wherein really enjoyed and appreciated the hearwarming depiction of practicing Communal harmony in real life scenarios.
The Communal Harmony Week celebration was a grand success, with active participation from students, teachers, and staff. The activities organized during the week helped to promote a sense of unity and inclusivity among the participants. We hope to continue this celebration in the future and promote communal harmony and integration.
