A culinary art integrated salad making competition was held at Army Public School Golconda on 27 July 2019.The main objective behindthis experiancial learning was to instill healthy eating habits and enrich learners vocabulary with indigenousfruits and veggies. Parents accompanied their cherubs and helped them plate their nutritious salad.The participants felt delighted and revealed their creativity through their artistic salads .The tiny toys dressed as fruits and veggies left everyone awestruck.Judges were impressed by the aesthetic sense of the cute little tiny toys and selected the best five based on Creativity, Presentation and Learners awareness. “Salad Express”, the bell pepper train made by Hamrajof Class 1 caught everyone’s attention. Principal Mrs.Vidya Mularidharan graced the event and gave away the prizes to the best culinary artists.The event inspired tiny tots to select right diet.
